Description
IMC110-200 - Industro-Motive Corporation 1/25 Ford GT-40 - WWHP111859
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ford GT40 was developed by Ford in partnership with Eric Broadley's Lola Cars and Carroll Shelby's team as a direct response to Enzo Ferrari's refusal to sell his company to Ford. The resulting car went on to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans four consecutive times from 1966 to 1969, ending Ferrari's dominance of the race and achieving one of the most celebrated results in motorsport history. This kit depicts the Gulf Oil-liveried GT40 in the iconic light blue and orange colour scheme, car number 8, as raced by the John Wyer Automotive team in the late 1960s.
Box Contents:
- White plastic sprues — body, chassis, interior, and detail parts
- Waterslide decal sheet — Gulf Oil livery, car no. 8, with roundel and stripe markings
- Instruction/reference sheet
