Description
ICM48331 - ICM 1/48 Lockheed Hudson Mk.III
Based on the pre-war Lockheed Model 14 Super Electra airliner, the Hudson would serve with the Commonwealth Air Forces in the desperate early days of WWII as light bomber and maritime patrol aircraft until larger numbers of more advanced and dedicated aircraft could be brought on strength.
6 Royal Canadian Air Force squadrons would eventually be equipped with the Hudson with some aircraft even serving until the end of the war as experimental test-beds and personnel transports.
