The KHD A3000 was the all wheel drive version of the three tonne cargo truck built by Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz at the former Magirus works in Ulm, the A standing for Allrad and the related S3000 being the rear drive variant. Power came from a 4.9 litre four cylinder Deutz diesel of about 80 hp, and roughly 5,960 A3000s were built between 1940 and 1944. They served on every German front, from the Eastern Front to North Africa, Italy and France.
