The Chevrolet C60L was a Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) truck, a 3-ton 4x4 lorry built in huge numbers by General Motors of Canada to a common Commonwealth design. Over half a million CMP trucks were produced in Canada during the war, more than Germany's entire wartime truck output, and they formed the backbone of British and Commonwealth transport. The General Service version carried the standard cargo and troop body on the long-wheelbase chassis with the No.13 cab.
