The McDonnell Douglas F-15C was the improved single-seat production Eagle, the U.S. Air Force's frontline air-superiority fighter with greater internal fuel and higher gross weight than the original F-15A. This is Hasegawa's Collectors' Hi-Grade Series No. 1 — the kit that launched the premium Hi-Grade line — issued as a Limited Edition of 3,000 pieces.
