The VF-1 Valkyrie is the iconic variable fighter of the 1982 anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross (known to many Western fans through Robotech). The VF-1D is the two-seat trainer variant, depicted here in the orange-and-white U.N. Spacy training scheme as aircraft 102. Like all Hasegawa VF-1 kits, this is a fixed-pose fighter-mode model — non-transformable — and a detailed scale rendition rather than a toy. This is a limited-edition boxing.
