Tarpon was the name the Fleet Air Arm gave the Grumman Avenger when the type arrived in British service in 1943, before the Royal Navy reverted to the American name the following year. The Mk.II corresponded to the TBF-1C with wing-mounted cannon, and it flew from British carriers on anti-shipping and anti-submarine strikes, most famously in the attacks on the Tirpitz and later in the Pacific. Box art shows JZ301 in the Atlantic scheme with full Royal Navy titles.
