Description
HAS51014 - Hasegawa 1/24 Ferrari 642 (All metal engine details) - WWHP113393
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ferrari 642 carried the Scuderia through the first half of the 1991 Formula One season, with Alain Prost and Jean Alesi driving numbers 27 and 28. Powered by the Tipo 037 3.5 litre V12 and running Fiat, Agip, Marlboro and Pioneer branding, it proved outpaced by the McLaren and Williams and was replaced mid season by the 643, making it one of the shorter lived Ferraris of the era. This is Hasegawa's Collectors' Hi-Grade Series release, number 14 in the range, produced with Ferrari's approval and built around a fully detailed metal engine and drivetrain. It is a display only model with no working functions.
