Description
HAS31108 - Hasegawa 1/72 Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger I Ausf.E - WWWEB10112225
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I Ausf.E was Germany's most feared heavy tank of the Second World War, combining the powerful 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun with heavy frontal armour that made it virtually impervious to most Allied anti-tank weapons at typical combat ranges when first encountered in North Africa in 1942. Weighing approximately 57 tonnes, the Tiger I was slow and mechanically demanding but delivered devastating firepower and could engage Allied armour at ranges far beyond what its opponents could match. The Ausf.E was the primary production variant, with nearly 1,350 built between 1942 and 1944.
