Description
HAS10620 - Hasegawa 1/200 Japan Airlines Boeing 747-300SR Reso'cha Version (pink) - WWHP113331
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
JAL's 747-300SRs were built for the domestic trunk routes, short range airframes with the stretched upper deck and very high seating counts. Around the turn of the millennium the airline gave several of its Pacific resort route Jumbos a Reso'cha scheme, hibiscus blossoms and hummingbirds sweeping across the fin and forward fuselage, flown to Guam, Hawaii and Okinawa. The pink version modelled here is JA8186. These schemes lasted only a few years, which is part of why they remain such popular subjects among airliner modellers.
At 1/200 the finished model is a substantial 35 cm, and Hasegawa's decal printing handles the floral artwork rather than asking you to mask it. Made in Japan.
