Description
HAS10122 - Hasegawa 1/200 Japan Airlines Boeing 777-200 'Star Jet Part 2' - WWHP113332
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
JAL was among the first operators of the 777, taking delivery from 1996 and putting the type on domestic trunk and regional international routes. Individual airframes were given star names under the Star Jet programme, with a small starburst emblem on the engine nacelles, and this boxing covers two of them: Altair and Betelgeuse. The aircraft wear the tsurumaru crane on the fin, the JAL identity that was retired in 2002 and then brought back in 2011, so this scheme belongs to a distinct period in the airline's history.
A decal variation of Hasegawa's 777 tooling, with a display stand included. Made in Japan.
