HAS09465 - Hasegaw 1/48 A-7E Corsair II `VA-195 Dambusters´ WWHP112909
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
Includes aftermarket x2
The Vought A-7E Corsair II was the U.S. Navy's primary carrier-based attack aircraft through the 1970s and into the 1980s, replacing the A-4 Skyhawk and serving through the Gulf War before retirement in 1991. VA-195 earned the Dambusters nickname from a 1951 torpedo strike against the Hwachon Reservoir Dam in Korea, a distinction the squadron carried through its A-7E years aboard USS Kitty Hawk. This 2003 limited edition rebox of Hasegawa's 1987-tooled 1/48 A-7E adds a dedicated VA-195 Dambusters decal sheet and a photoetched detail fret.
- Light grey plastic sprues (x2)
- Clear plastic sprue
- Photoetched detail fret
- Multicoloured waterslide decal sheet (VA-195 Dambusters, US Navy)
- Black and white instruction sheet
