HAS01996 - Hasegawa 1/72 Aichi E13A1 Type Zero (Jake) Model 11 `Midway´ w/Catapult WWHP112908
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Aichi E13A1 was the Imperial Japanese Navy's principal long-range floatplane reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War, launched by catapult from cruisers and battleships. Aircraft from the cruisers Tone and Chikuma flew the critical pre-battle search missions at Midway in June 1942, with Tone's No. 4 aircraft famously delayed in launch and late in reporting the American carrier force. This release pairs Hasegawa's 1/72 E13A1 tooling with a Midway-themed decal sheet and includes a separately moulded ship catapult.
- Plastic sprue (grey)
- Clear plastic sprue
- Multicoloured waterslide decal sheet (three marking options: MI-4, IJN Tone, June 1942; MII-5, IJN Chikuma, June 1942; FI-1, IJN Myoko, 1942)
- Black and white instruction sheet
