Includes aftermarket x2
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Mitsubishi G3M was the Imperial Japanese Navy's principal land-based attack bomber at the outbreak of the Pacific War, known to the Allies by the code name "Nell." On 10 December 1941, G3M and G4M bombers of the Kanoya and Genzan Naval Air Corps sank the British battleship HMS Prince of Wales and battlecruiser HMS Repulse off the Malayan coast -- the first time capital ships under way at sea were sunk solely by air attack. This limited edition kit depicts G3M2 and G3M3 aircraft of those units in the green/brown camouflage worn during the Malayan campaign.
