HAS00631 - Hasegawa 1/72 F-16C Fighting Falcon ' Wolf Pack 2002' - WWHP113807

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

The 8th Fighter Wing, known as the “Wolf Pack,” was made famous in Vietnam under Colonel Robin Olds. It has been based at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, since 1974, where it flies F-16 Fighting Falcons on the front line of the Korean peninsula. The F-16C was developed from the F-16A under the Multi-Stage Improvement Program. It added the APG-68 radar and an upgraded cockpit, and the Block 40/42 “Night Falcon” brought LANTIRN navigation and targeting pods for precision strikes at night and in bad weather. This Hasegawa limited edition captures the Wolf Pack’s 2002 commander’s aircraft, with “WP” tail codes, the snarling wolf head on the fin and the yellow and blue “Wolf Pack” tail band.
