The Judge started in 1969 as a lower-priced, no-frills GTO that could take on the Plymouth Road Runner. Pontiac turned it into one of the boldest muscle cars of the era instead, with bright colours, loud graphics and a name taken from the “Here come de judge” catchphrase on Laugh-In. The 1970 Judge came standard with the 400 Ram Air III V8 and a rear deck spoiler. The convertible is the rarest Judge of all, with only 168 built that year. GMP’s 1/24 replica shows it in the classic orange with a black top.
