The LARC-V (Lighter, Amphibious Resupply, Cargo, 5-ton) was an American wheeled amphibious vehicle introduced in 1963, using a screw propeller in the water and four wheels on land to ferry personnel and supplies from offshore ships to the beach. Used by the US Army from 1965 in the Vietnam War for cargo and ammunition resupply, it later served allied forces and remains in use today, including as a civilian tour vehicle. This is Gecko Models' 1/35 scale kit.
