The Vought F7U-3 Cutlass was a tailless, swept-wing carrier fighter built for the US Navy, with twin afterburning Westinghouse J46 engines, a distinctive tall nose gear and combined aileron and elevator control surfaces on the wing trailing edge. It entered fleet service in 1954 and served until 1959. This kit represents the definitive F7U-3 production variant.
