Description
126159 - Fujimi 1/24 Porsche 917K Tetsu Ikuzawa - '71 Fuji Masters WWHP112859
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Porsche 917K was the dominant force in international sports car racing in 1970–71, winning Le Mans both years and establishing itself as one of the most powerful and successful racing cars of its era. The short-tail "K" (Kurzheck) configuration was developed for circuits requiring high-speed stability, and the type was operated by numerous private teams across Japan, Europe, and North America. Tetsu Ikuzawa raced this Seiko-sponsored example at the Fuji Grand Champion series finale in 1971, one of the few 917Ks to race in Japan during the period.
