The R380 was the car that proved a Japanese constructor could build a competitive prototype, and the R380-II carried the programme forward with its 2 litre GR8 six behind the driver. Fujimi issued it at 1/16 in the Enthusiast Model range, which is a rare scale for a sports prototype and gives the finished car real bulk on a shelf next to the usual 1/24 field.
