Description
FRGF236 - Frog 1/72 Focke-Wulf 152H High-altitude fighter - WWWEB10109785
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Focke-Wulf Ta.152H was the definitive high-altitude interceptor development of the Fw 190 lineage, designed by Kurt Tank and entering limited Luftwaffe service in early 1945. Its extended wingspan, pressurised cockpit, and supercharged Jumo 213E engine gave it exceptional performance above 10,000 metres — capable of outrunning contemporary Allied fighters at altitude. Fewer than 70 were completed before the war's end, serving primarily with JG 301 and JG 3 in the Defence of the Reich role. Despite its scarcity, it achieved a strong combat reputation, with several encounters where pilots used its speed advantage to disengage from pursuing Allied aircraft. Made in England by Rovex Models and Hobbies. Box art by Ken Rush.
