The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the principal Luftwaffe fighter of the Second World War, and the G series, nicknamed "Gustav," was the most heavily produced of all its variants. The G-2 was an early Gustav fielded from around the summer of 1942, powered by the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605A engine, and it served on every front as Germany worked to hold its position. This kit comes from Fine Molds' modular Bf 109 tooling, released in 2005, and includes a large-format decal that reproduces the aircraft's mottled camouflage pattern.
