During the Vietnam War, American special operations units such as the Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Rangers and LRRP recon teams carried out long jungle patrols deep in hostile territory, often in tiger stripe camouflage and boonie hats instead of standard issue gear. They carried lightweight weapons including the M16 rifle, the CAR-15 carbine and the M79 grenade launcher. This Esci/Ertl set gives 1/72 wargamers and diorama builders a full unit of these jungle fighters in a wide variety of action poses.
