ESC9118 - Esci - 1/72 F-15 A/C Eagle - WWHP113575
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle was designed in response to the Soviet MiG-25, a large twin-engine air superiority fighter built around raw thrust, a powerful radar and long-range missile armament. It entered USAF service in 1975 and gradually replaced the F-4 Phantom in the fighter role. During Desert Storm the Eagle accounted for the large majority of coalition air-to-air victories, with the 33rd Tactical Fighter Wing from Eglin claiming more kills than any other unit.
