EDU35380 - Eduard 1/35 Sturmtiger Zimmerit (For Tamiya kit) - WWHP113228

Zimmerit was an anti-magnetic paste troweled onto German armoured vehicles from late 1943, ridged and combed to stop hand placed magnetic mines from sitting flush against the plate. The Sturmtiger, a 38 cm rocket launcher built onto rebuilt Tiger I hulls from August 1944, carried it across the tall slab sides of its superstructure, where the coating is unusually prominent. Reproducing that texture in putty is fiddly and hard to keep consistent, so this etched sheet offers a repeatable alternative with the pattern already cut in.
