EAS72265 - Eastern Express 1/72 Bomber English Electric Canberra B. (1) Mk. 8 - WWHP113182
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The English Electric Canberra B(I).8 was the interdictor development of Britain's first jet bomber, distinguished by an offset fighter style canopy under a fully glazed nose and a removable gun pack carrying four 20mm cannon in the rear bomb bay. It entered RAF service in 1956, flying low level strike and night intruder work with squadrons in Germany, and was exported to a number of overseas air arms that operated it well into the 1990s. This Eastern Express boxing uses the long running Frog tooling.
