The Soviet Osa class (Project 205) missile boats of the 1960s packed four P-15 "Styx" anti-ship missiles into a small, fast hull, and were exported widely to navies around the world, famously used by India in the 1971 strikes on Karachi. The Osa II introduced improved missile launchers, while the larger Tarantul corvettes (Project 1241) of the late 1970s and 1980s added a 76 mm gun and more capable missiles. The box art captures the Persian Gulf "Tanker War" era, with US MH-6 Little Bird helicopters engaging Iranian gunboats, both of which are also included in this Modern Sea Power Series set.
