The Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma was the most famous of Germany's heavy eight-wheeled armoured cars, a fast, long-range reconnaissance vehicle fitted with a fully enclosed turret mounting a 5 cm KwK 39/1 gun — the same class of weapon as early Panther tanks. With excellent cross-country mobility, all-wheel steering, and a rear driving position, it was among the finest reconnaissance vehicles of the war, though only around 100 were built before production shifted to the open-topped 234/1 and 234/3 variants.

This is Dragon's 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma from their '39–'45 Series (©2006), a highly detailed kit with over 500 parts. Features include slide-moulded one-piece chassis and hull-bottom, multi-part wheels, photo-etched detail parts (lifting hooks, jerry can brackets, bumper details, convoy light cover), positionable vision ports and engine louvres, full interior detail with fuel tank, and a Cartograf decal sheet. The kit provides markings for four Wehrmacht vehicles.
