By the summer of 1944, British infantry in Normandy were equipped with a standardised battledress uniform and Pattern 37 webbing that had evolved through years of wartime experience. The Normandy campaign saw British and Commonwealth forces engaged in some of the most intense fighting of the Western Front, including the prolonged battles around Caen. This Dragon set captures six infantrymen in a range of combat poses, all in accurate period kit.
