The Me 262A-1a/U-4 was an interceptor variant of the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter fitted with a long-barrel 50mm Mauser MK 214A cannon in the nose, intended to break up Allied heavy-bomber formations from beyond the range of their defensive guns. Only two prototypes were converted and trialled in early 1945, with combat tests flown on airframe V083 in April 1945 before the war ended. This is Dragon's Master Series boxing depicting that prototype.
