DP-ITA4602 - Italeri - 1/9 1951 Norton Manx 500 (Box Damaged)
*BOX DAMAGE KIT Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Norton Manx was the dominant Grand Prix racing motorcycle of the early 1950s, a development of the Isle of Man TT-winning single-cylinder Norton racers that had been refined over decades of competition. Geoff Duke rode the Manx 500 to victory in the 1950 and 1951 500cc World Championships, cementing Norton's reputation as the leading British racing marque of the era. The Featherbed frame, introduced in 1950, was widely regarded as the most advanced racing chassis of its time and influenced motorcycle design for years afterward.
