USS Buchanan (DD-484) was a Gleaves-class destroyer commissioned in 1942, serving in the Pacific during the Guadalcanal campaign and later transferred to the Royal Navy. Gleaves-class ships were fast, heavily armed escorts that formed the backbone of American destroyer forces in the early war years. This photo-etched upgrade set is designed to detail Dragon's 1/350 U.S.S. Buchanan kit.

Package contents:

  • High-precision photo-etched brass fret
  • Railings sufficient for the whole ship: three-chain railing for main and upper decks, three-chain railing with safety netting for the main deck, canvas-covered two-bar railing, and two-bar railing for the pilot house
  • Preformed parts for the Mk-22 radar antenna

Scale 1/350. Aftermarket upgrade set for the Dragon kit. Base kit, plastic parts, paint, and adhesive not included.
