The Patrol Craft Fast (PCF), universally known as the Swift Boat, was a 50-foot aluminum-hulled patrol craft adapted from oil-rig crew boats for the U.S. Navy's coastal and riverine war in Vietnam. Armed with twin .50-calibre machine guns in a gun tub and an over-under .50/81mm mortar mount aft, Swift Boats patrolled the coast under Operation Market Time and later pushed deep into the Mekong Delta's rivers. The Mk.I was the original 1965 configuration.

This is a 1/72 scale injection-moulded plastic kit from Revell (2021 tooling). 93 parts; completed length 21.3cm. Skill level 4.
