Shirley Shahan, the "Drag-On Lady," made history as the first woman to win an NHRA national event, racing Super Stock machines prepared by her husband H.L. Shahan. In 1969 she campaigned an AMX backed by the Southern California American Motors dealers, one of the most recognizable Super Stock cars of the era. Jo-Han's 1971 kit adapts its AMX tooling to replicate her car right down to the lettering.
