The Bücker Bü 181 Bestmann was the Luftwaffe's standard primary trainer, a simple side by side monoplane that most German pilots met before anything faster. In the closing months of the war a number were pressed into an anti-tank role, fitted with underwing Panzerfaust tubes and flown against Soviet armour by improvised Panzerjagdstaffeln, earning the unofficial name Panzerbücker. AZ model's 1/72 kit covers that late war conversion, with an injection moulded canopy rather than vacform, and offers three Luftwaffe schemes in RLM 71 and 70 over RLM 65.
