Aurora first tooled its Curtiss Hawk P-6E in 1955, and this Famous Fighters boxing from West Hempstead, New York is a classic of the golden age of American kit making. The P-6E was the US Army Air Corps’ most elegant biplane fighter of the early 1930s, powered by a liquid-cooled Curtiss Conqueror V-12 and famous for its sleek nose and spatted landing gear. Aurora’s kit features movable controls and comes in the striking green and yellow box art.
