The Ju 88 sat on a single leg per side that rotated the wheel through ninety degrees as it retracted, which makes for a complicated and heavily loaded main gear. Kit plastic in this scale tends to sag under the weight of a twin engined bomber, so cast metal legs are as much a structural fix as a detail upgrade, and the crisper tyre and hub detail comes along with it.
