ARWAC4817 - Airwaves 1/48 F/A-18, A/B Hornet Cockpit 

The Hornet was the first American fighter built around CRT displays rather than dials, so its main panel is mostly flat screen faces and surrounding button rows. That is a shape brass reproduces well and injection moulding does not, and with the large one piece canopy sitting over it the cockpit is the first thing anyone looks at on a finished Hornet.
