The Sea Hurricane Mk IB was the Fleet Air Arm's first true carrier-capable Hurricane, converted from land-based Mk I airframes with catapult spools and a V-frame arrester hook. With the Royal Navy short of modern fighters, Sea Hurricanes flew from fleet carriers and escort carriers through 1941 and 1942, and their finest hour came during Operation Pedestal in August 1942, defending the vital convoy to Malta. Arma Hobby's highly regarded 1/72 Hurricane tooling is paired here with 3D printed naval-specific parts and five Fleet Air Arm marking options.
