Kashima was a Katori-class training cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy, completed in 1940 and designed to carry naval cadets on long-range training cruises. During the Pacific War she served as a fleet flagship and convoy escort in the South Seas. The box gives a standard displacement of 5,890 tons and a waterline length of 130.00m.
