The 1965 Galaxie was Ford's big restyle year, with stacked headlights, crisp squared shoulders and a new coil sprung three link rear that made it ride better than any full size Ford before it. It was also a NASCAR weapon, and the white number 28 LaFayette Ford campaigned out of Fayetteville, North Carolina by Holman Moody is one of the best remembered liveries of the season. AMT's Retro Deluxe Edition brings the original 1965 annual tooling back with restored parts and a much bigger decal sheet, so you can build it stock, custom or as the stock car.
