For 1967 the Mustang grew for the first time, gaining width and a wider engine bay so Ford could finally fit the big block, and the fastback roofline was redrawn to sweep in one unbroken line all the way to the tail. It is the shape most people picture when they hear the word Mustang, helped along by a certain green fastback chasing a Charger through San Francisco the following year. This kit builds the 2+2 fastback with the 289 cubic inch HiPo V8, the high compression solid lifter version of the small block that made the GT worth the badge.
