Description
AMT6515 - AMT 1/25 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner Hardtop - WWWEB10114888
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
Plymouth introduced the Road Runner in 1968 as a no-frills muscle car for young, performance-minded drivers. It was light and affordable, and Plymouth paid Warner Bros. for the right to use the cartoon bird and its “beep beep” horn. The standard engine was a 383 V8. Buyers could also order the legendary 426 Hemi, rated at 425 hp with dual four-barrel carburettors, which made the Road Runner one of the fastest cars on the street. It sold far better than Plymouth expected and helped define the budget muscle car era. This AMT/Ertl kit can be built two ways, stock or with custom wheels.
- Light grey plastic parts in the sealed bag
- Chrome-plated parts

- Goodyear Polyglas GT tires
- 426 Hemi V8 with dual four-barrel carburettors, cross-ram manifold and 4-speed manual transmission
