The Ford C-Series was a tilt-cab (cab-over-engine) truck line produced by Ford from 1957 through 1990, widely used across North American commercial and municipal fleets for its compact wheelbase and strong payload capacity. The C-600 variant sat in the medium-duty range and was a common sight on urban delivery routes throughout the 1960s and 1970s. AMT first tooled this kit in 1972; kit 38165 is a subsequent rebox of that original tooling released by AMT/ERTL in 2004.
