The Beverly Hillbillies ran on CBS from 1962 to 1971 and became one of the most popular sitcoms in television history. It followed Jed Clampett and his family, who strike oil in the Ozarks and move to a Beverly Hills mansion. Their battered truck, piled high with belongings and topped by Granny’s rocking chair, became one of TV’s most recognizable vehicles. The real one was a 1921 Oldsmobile Model 46 touring car cut down into a flatbed truck. This 2005 AMT/Ertl reissue of the classic MPC kit lets you build the famous “Family Car” truck from the show or the “Super-Speed” hot rod version.
