Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats have been the home of American land-speed racing since the early 1900s. Hot rodders still gather there every year to run the measured mile flat out across the salt. Salt Shaker is AMT’s take on a classic salt-flats coupe. It’s a 1937 Chevy with a lowered, streamlined front end and a blown, fuel-injected Chevy 427 big-block V8 tuned for all-out top speed. Its “A/GS” class lettering and vintage speed-shop decals capture the look of the gas-supercharged coupes that raced in the 1960s and 1970s. This Round 2 reissue builds the yellow and black #67 racer shown on the box, and the extra numbers and logos let you build your own version.
