Chevrolet launched its “Task Force” trucks in 1955, and the top of the line was the Cameo Carrier. It was a stylish half-ton pickup with smooth, car-like fibreglass bed sides, wraparound windscreen and two-tone paint, and it’s often called the first “sport truck.” Only about 10,000 Cameos were built from 1955 to 1958, which makes them highly collectible today. This AMT kit builds a 1956 Chevy Cameo in classic “Drink Coca-Cola in Bottles” livery. It includes a pre-painted Coca-Cola vending machine and hand dolly for a ready-made country store scene.
