Description
AMO72104 - Amodel - 1/72 Aero 145 - WWHP113808
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Czechoslovak manufacturer Aero built the Aero 45 in 1947 as a light, twin-engined multi-purpose aircraft. By 1951 around 200 had been produced, and most were exported to East Germany, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland and the USSR. The improved Aero 145 followed in 1959 with more powerful engines, a radio and redesigned cockpit glazing, and more than 500 were built. Both versions served as air taxis, liaison aircraft and air ambulances, and a few Aero 45s flew with the Czechoslovak Air Force as the K-75. This Amodel limited edition kit builds the Aero 145 in 1/72 scale, with markings for four operators.
