The Yakovlev Yak-9 was one of the most numerous Soviet fighters of the Second World War. The Yak-9B was a fighter-bomber version fitted with an internal bomb bay behind the cockpit, allowing it to carry bombs or anti-tank bomblets and giving Soviet fighter regiments a ground-attack capability; relatively few were built and they saw operational service in 1944. This is an Alanger reboxing (2006) of the ICM Yak-9 tooling, made in Russia.
