The Miles M.2 Hawk Major was a single-engine, two-seat British sporting and touring monoplane introduced in 1934, developed from the earlier Hawk. Powered by a de Havilland Gipsy Major engine, it was used widely for private flying and racing in Britain and exported to several countries. Spain produced the type under licence. The aircraft continued in use as a touring machine into 1942. Alliance Models is a small Czech resin manufacturer; kit 72006 is one of the only 1/72 scale representations of the type. Exported through Modelimex, Teplice, Czech Republic.
